Description
FOX HARDTOP® CS FF830 is a colloidal silica-based fluidizing and moisturizing agent applied by spraying onto the surface of fresh concrete to achieve fast and easy surface finishing.
Colloidal silica improves the workability of concrete by lubricating and fluidizing the surface, making finishing operations easier. It helps prevent rapid surface drying caused by high temperatures, wind, and low humidity conditions. The product is particularly useful in dry-shake surface hardener applications, where it helps prevent cracking resulting from insufficient surface moisture.
During concrete hydration, colloidal silica reacts with free lime (calcium hydroxide), increasing the density, durability, and overall performance of the concrete surface.
