• Apply ODE Bitumen Emulsion Primer to the surface in accordance with the application specifications. Before starting membrane installation, allow the primer to dry for 1 day at 15–20°C and 2 days in colder weather conditions. Application should not be carried out at temperatures below +5°C or during rainy weather.

  The ODE RUBIN waterproofing membrane should be unrolled perpendicular to the slope on terraces or pitched roofs, starting from the lowest point. The membrane should be overlapped by 15 cm longitudinally and 10 cm transversely. It should be bonded either only at the joints, as specified in the application details, or fully adhered using a torch flame.

  On surfaces where torch application is not possible, or where protection against wind loads is required, the membrane should be installed using mechanical fastening. After the first layer has been applied over the entire surface with staggered transverse joints, the second layer should be installed in a staggered pattern so that its longitudinal and transverse joints are centered over those of the first layer.
