SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface on which BTM Waterproofing Membrane Poseidon PO5000 will be applied must be free from dust, dirt, rust, and oil. Loose particles must be removed. Where necessary, BTS 100 or BTR 200 primer should be applied to the surface and allowed to dry completely.

APPLICATION METHOD
If the surfaces to be waterproofed are concrete, they must be finished with a trowelled slope concrete layer and be clean and dry. Before applying BTM Waterproofing Membrane Poseidon PO5000, the surface must be primed with BTS 100 (TS103) bituminous solution primer or BTR 200 (TS113) bituminous emulsion primer and allowed to dry completely.

Waterproofing Membrane Bonding Rules:
Application starts from the lowest point of the roof and perpendicular to the slope. BTM Waterproofing Membrane Poseidon PO5000 is heated with a torch flame to achieve full adhesion to the surface. Staggering between rows is mandatory. A 15 cm overlap must be left on the 1-meter short side joints and a 10 cm overlap on the long side joints, and the joints must be bonded using a roller.
