Surface Preparation

The application surface must be dry, clean, and free from oil, rust, silicone, dust, and other contaminants.

Application Method

BTM Bituproof Protector is applied over Bituproof Y membranes installed on foundation slabs when additional protection measures are required. For detailed application procedures and project-specific solutions, please consult the manufacturer.

Packaging

• Supplied in rolls measuring 1 m × 15 m.

Storage Conditions and Shelf Life

• Bituminous membrane rolls must be transported in an upright position.
• Necessary precautions should be taken to prevent rolls from tipping during transportation.
• Store rolls upright in covered warehouses with a flat floor.
• Membrane rolls must not be stacked on top of one another.
• Care should be taken during loading, unloading, and handling to avoid severe impacts.
• If stored outdoors for an extended period, the rolls should be covered to protect them from direct sunlight.
• Shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture, provided the product is stored in its original unopened and undamaged packaging, in dry conditions, protected from direct sunlight, at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
