ODE Granat
Description
These are waterproofing membranes made of APP-modified polymer bitumen, reinforced with glass fiber mat or polyester felt, suitable for use in cold and temperate climates.

Surface Preparation
The surface to be waterproofed must have a completed slope concrete layer, be finished with a wooden float, and be free from oil, dirt, and dust. If necessary, it should be cleaned with pressurized water. All junctions between vertical and horizontal surfaces must be chamfered (45° angle and 8 × 8 cm dimensions).

Apply ODE Bitumen Emulsion Primer to the surface according to its application instructions. Before starting the membrane installation, allow the primer to dry for 1 day at 15–20°C and 2 days in colder weather. Application should not be carried out at temperatures below +5°C or during rainy weather.
The ODE GRANAT waterproofing membrane is applied on terraces or sloped roofs by unrolling it perpendicular to the slope, starting from the lowest level. The membrane should overlap 15 cm longitudinally and 10 cm transversely. It is bonded either only at the joints, as recommended in the installation details, or by full adhesion using a torch flame. On surfaces where torch application is not possible, or where additional resistance to wind loads is required, the membrane should be mechanically fixed.
After the first layer has been installed over the entire surface with staggered transverse joints, the second layer should be applied in a staggered pattern so that its longitudinal and transverse joints are centered over those of the first layer.
